I was just wondering how to integrate the special characters like ë and ï in the basic text when I change the .xml files as right now it does not show it online once uploaded. &#235 ; &euml ; or &#239 ; &iuml ; also does not do the trick.

Also is there a simple way to resize and display vertical images in the gallery? Right now it works perfectly though only with horizontal..

Nice template!

Couple of questions:

1. I’ve changed background to dark and would like to change some item colors which are not changeable via xml:

-Selected/Active menu items (default is black) -Mouseover Next, Previous, Thumbs icons (default is black)

2. Is it possible to change alignment for selected portfolio items? Default alignment is left.

3. If I add multiple images and/or videos under one portfolio item, is it possible to see them all without assetHeight=”XX” & assetWidth=”XX” parameters clipping or masking them

I recently purcahsed this item. Great template, clean layout and simple to navigate. I have one question though.

I tweaked the assetWidth and assetHeight in the gallery.xml to allow me to better showcase vertical images (and also I wanted them bigger to read text on the images), however, now I am having trouble because it does not seem to scale properly in different web browsers (firefox, specifically but also safari). Also having the same problem with the text only page as well (currently forgetting which xml file this one is) Can you help?

Hi, on the contact page I have used the two icons for twitter and facebook, and put 2 separate links into the contact.xml however when you click on the icons they both go to the facebook link?

How do I sort this out to go to the separate links?

I haven’t downloaded the updated version… just figured out how to personalize what I had. I see the “For Previewo only” at the bottom of the page, I’m assuming this is the watermark that has been removed in the update?

How easy is it to update? Will I have to re-do the whole website files again? Forgive me for my un-knowledgable questions… I’m SO lost when it comes to building websites and code.

Also, I’m noticing that my images aren’t loading from the gallery… was there a glitch in the old template that would take care of this problem?

And, I’ve removed it because for some reason it wasn’t working… I tried to connect my twitter account to the contact page, but for some reason it would only take me to facebook… so I just removed it, and left it to connect only to facebook. What happened there do you think?

Anyone successful in changing the bg color? I’ve tried changing Background in the Menu.fla to know avail. I’ve tried several things for that matter.

1) How do you change the background color?

2) When playing a movie in the gallery and if you click on another menu item, the movie continues to play. Any fix for this?

is it possible to change the scrollbar in the gallery to preview and forward arrow???

i Like this gallery very much but i find it very confusing with the scrollbar where you have to scroll if you want to see the next picture and the arrows at the top where you only switched the folder. Not every user understand that, for example i had clicked first on the right arrow to see the next picture. Later i still understand that i have to scroll to see the pictures in this folder.

Could you do a version, where you replace the scrollbar to an up and down arrow??
