XML Image/Video Portfolio Template

I already did both those things and both doesn’t work. (Ex. When I call for “about2.xml” when I click the link it still goes to the main “about.xml”)

Also, I tried implementing a swf into your template with the method you provided which caused it to continuously load but the swf never finished loading.

I finally realized why my page wasn’t working. I see here that both news.xml and staff.xml is sharing the “news.swf” file. However, although it works in the sample preview on active den, when I download and test the file right from download the “staff” tab no longer works on preview. Actually, now that I checked, none of the links that share swfs work. Is the file corrupt? What can I do to fix this? Thank you.

I emailed but I don’t see it now:( my menu is f’d up… actually non existent, it is a big red bar. I dunno what i did or how to fix it, all I know is everything is ready but no buttons… only portfolio. I tried to email screen shot but I couldn’t find that either. Anyways, I’m stumped, tried for about 4 hours to resuscitate menu, ughh.

Hi, you can custom the position in the resizeHandler() in Menu.as. For example: menuContainer.y = _logo.y; Change this will affect the portfolio or the about modular’s y position. And you can assign a constant value to the sw and sh, the then the whole swf will stay at a fix position etc. Hope this give you a hint. Thanks.

When I search for my website in Google I get the following results:

www.mywebsite.com

www.mywebsite.com/xml/about.xml

www.mywebsite.com/xml/contact.xml

Apparently the xml files are indexed by Google which sounds good but when I click on them they result in empty error pages.

Do you know how I can correct that?

How can I add a simple vertical scrollbar for text on the about page? Just a rectangle handle and a line slot. The default flash scroller is ugly – I purchased another one from someone else on activeden http://activeden.net/item/as3-content-scroller/79638 but it’s not working properly when added to my project, maybe conflict with .as? Do you have a scroller like this for sale?
