Photo Ruffle 2 - xml image galleries

No, you can configure quite everything just with the included XML files. There is an XML file with global options and another one for galleries defintions.

If you are not so keen in editing XML files there is also a Visual Editor included (for Mac and Windows) that enables you to easily set all your options and galleries, and that will generate the correct XML files for you.

You need to open the included fla (with Flash CS5 ) and the sources files only if you want to modify the application more deeply (i.e.: change the interface graphic, embed different fonts, etc…)

What is an XML file by the way?

Sure, just embed your desired font and charset in the fla library and compile again the swf.
Then you will be ready to use your special characters in your photos titles, captions, etc…

There is a detailed chapter in the help manual on how to embed fonts.
