Hey guys, need a little help here.. Im aware of piracy thanks to some threads here and there, but now I want to protect my files in an easy to use way.

I was wondering if there was something like a server side SWF encryption. Like, you just upload your stuff, and it gets encrypted without you having to do anything.

If there isnt, which encryption software would you guys recommend?

not heard of any server side stuff but you need to get Amayetta Swf Encrypt.

Its what us flashden reviewers use.

Its a little pricey but worth it i would say. :)

I use Swf Encrypt as flashjunkie. I didn’t heard a server based swf encrypt tool or code.

swfEncrypt as mentioned and for small fast things I use swfProtect. Next thing you would like to do is bind the swf to the URL it’s on.

Hm, alrighty. Guess ill have to gather some cash for that one, seems to be pricey indeed.. I was asking this because there are so many files on FD, thought maybe they used something like a server side encrypting thing.

That would be a great idea though, but then it would have to be build into the server itself. Something for Amayetta to think about ;)

What do you mean by bind it to the url? Like swf checks if its loaded from that url or not? And how would one achieve that? (lol, 3 questions :P)

Use the local connection class to get the domain name:
new LocalConnection().domain();

Don’t forget to check the domain name with www. and without www.

Also it is better to avoid external xml data in the preview files.
